Metal stamping is the process of putting the tablet metal in the form of rough or curly materials for stamping molds for stamping processing. Composite die stamping can be used mainly for making simple flat parts such as washers and metal rings. The stamping die that can complete the upper process of both inner hole and shape at the same station. Composite stamping die can be divided into: front-loading composite die, reverse-loading composite die according to the structure.

Progressive Die Stamping

Progressive die stamping?uses a sequence of stamping stations. A metal coil is fed into a reciprocating stamping press with progressive stamping dies that simultaneously punches, bends, and shapes the parts.

The main advantages of progressive die stamping include:

In short, progressive die stamping can make parts with complex geometries quickly, economically, and with high rates of repeatability. However, progressive die stamping does require investing in permanent steel tooling. It is also not suitable for parts requiring deep drawing.

Deep Draw Stamping

Deep drawing involves pulling a sheet metal blank into the die via a punch, forming it into a shape. Deep drawing is a specialized metal stamping process to produce deep, hollow three-dimensional shapes. This type of forming is ideal for creating components that need several series of diameters and is a cost-effective alternative to turning processes, which typically require using up more raw materials.

Fine Blanking

Fine blanking, also known as fine-edge blanking, is valuable for providing high accuracy and smooth edges. Usually done on a hydraulic or mechanical press, or by a combination of the two.

The edges that are produced from fine blanking avoid fractures as produced with conventional tooling and surface flatness can exceed that available from other stamping methods. Since it is a cold extrusion technique, fine blanking is a single-step process, reducing the overall costs of fabrication.

Metal aluminum stamping can be divided into two categories: stretching and casting materials according to its manufacturing process. There is a difference between the heat treatment alloy and the non -thermal treatment alloy of the stretching material, mainly due to the different methods of controlling the strength of the material. Non -thermal treatment alloys are used to adjust the strength of the cold processing to control the strength of the material.
